Another easy terrain project, in-between troop painting! This time, it is some island terrain. I picked these up from Novus Design Studios during a recent sale. Looking at the models online, I thought they would work as both islands for naval gaming and rock outcroppings for other battlefields. The price was right, so I ordered them.

The models come in plastic bags with labels (nice not to get charged for expensive packaging). They are molded in hard gray resin. No flash to speak of, but there is some carving required around the bases. With that, our done. It’s terrain, it should not be hard!

I sprayed them with some grey Krylon primer. I then hit all the models with some Vallejo black dip wash. After that, it was just dry brushing shades of grey. Followed up with a Krylon spray sealer and I am set!
