While deciding on what to buy for Star Wars Legion, I saw the Priority Supplies set. I could not think anything more Star Wars and having some water Evaporator terrain. A shot does not seem to go by in the rebellion era that you do not see these things. So, what easier way than to Star Wars up your terrain table then adding some of these and into my collect they have come. I do not really have any plans to use these as anything more than scatter terrain, but I do like the addition scenarios provided in the set, so these may end up filling double duty!
In the set, you get three styles of tower (two, two and three each). You also get some random boxes that git the bill. The kits come in hard plastic on the sprue. Assembly is very easy, even if the instructions are not great. They have very little flash and nothing an Xacto cannot fix. The scenario and upgrade cards in the set are the same as all the other sets. Nothing required, but a nice bonus to add some new scenarios.
I sprayed the models with Krylon grey primer and let that dry. I hit all the minis with a black wash to get the painting started. This was followed up with a heavy dry brush of light grey from Vallejo and then a light dry brush of white on some of the raised details.
I felt that they needed a little more character, so I opted to go back and paint the vent interior and computer panels with some GW contrast black. I then hit the various knobs and screens with white, red or blue. Let that dry and hit them all with a Krylon dull coat to seal them and add a slight sheen. With that dry, I have some water towers to make any terrain board Star Wars friendly!
