I found a few more scatter terrain bits from Scotia Miniatures that I did not get to in my earlier painting push to finish my Egyptian Plus terrain. These are all single part resin models be Scotia.
They represent different scatter terrain for village, farm or port set ups. First we have an Egyptian entry way, then various jars and baskets. Each are individual sets and work well to “clutter up” the field. They are a bit fiddly in size, so I could see someone wanting to glue them together in groupings (something I might just do myself).
All are painted about the same with a Krylon spray camo tan, followed by a brown wash and then dry brushed. I finished the walkway and wicker baskets with Dullcoat and the jars with semi gloss coat to give a variable look for the materials.
With that, more terrain for the table! I am a bit fan of scatter terrain on the tabletop when playing skirmish games. It just adds a little more flavor to the board and helps deal with that “empty” look that can happen easily. With that goal in mind, the Scotia scatter terrain fits the bill!
