Scibor Miniatures makes a large selection of fantasy and Sci Fi miniatures. In addition, they make a lot of sculpted miniature bases. This latter line includes terrain features you can use to dress up your large bases or just separately as terrain. I have a number of their items in my backlog of unpainted miniatures and pulled them out recently to work on as part of my Egyptian Terrain during lock down. I am grouping some of them here in this article.
The miniature is made of very hard light grey resin. All pieces are single mold models with details on all upper sides. The details on the model is very fine and provides great relief for painting. One of the differences though is that they have a lot of raised line details, in addition to normal impeded detail. These are all single piece casts, with minimal cleanup required.
The model is an easy paint project. I hit mine with Krylon camo tan, followed by a brown wash and two lighter shades of tan dry brushes. Once the model was painted, I hit it with dull coat and now have another piece for my desert pulp terrain board.
Overall, pricing is not bad and the detail of the kit is fantastic. Being harder resin, some care needed to be taken with storage and handling, but this is somewhat minimized by the small size. In the end, it does provide a nice looking piece though.
