Base X of War makes various cast round and square miniature bases for 28mm figures. In their line, are various flight stands with standing terrain. These can be used as terrain features for your battlefield. I ordered a few pieces from them some time ago to add to my collection and work on during lock down.
The miniature is made of easily cuttable hard tan resin. All pieces are single mold models with details on all upper surfaces. The actual detail on the model is done well and provides great relief for painting. These are all single piece casts, with minimal cleanup required.
The model is an easy paint project. I hit mine with Krylon camo tan, followed by a brown wash and two lighter shades of tan dry brushes. Once the model was painted, I hit it with dull coat and now have another piece for my desert pulp terrain board.
Overall, pricing is not bad and the detail of the kit is fantastic. Being newer style resin, the pieces are durable. However, as with all resin, some care needs to be taken in handling. In the end, they provide nice looking pieces and a nice option for your gaming.
