I piked up a Reaper Bones Dragon Plant miniature at my FLGS some time back. The model is done in the original white soft plastic that Bones figures were first made from. It is a multi-part kit that needs to be glued together. As with all Bones models, it is very competitively priced.

I assembled the kit with super glue. The seams are very hard to cover up. The soft plastic does not hold putty, so I was left with coats of gloss coat and a hobby knife to work out the gaps. This somewhat worked, but I could not completely hide the seams, so just decided I would go with a gloss finish to conceal them better.

I opted for a green plant look. I stated with light green spray paint, I then hit that with the new GW contrast green. I was not too happy with the look at this point and noticed that I was still getting the sticky agent on the model.

I then hit it with some drybrushing of various greens to give some depth. I finished with a Krylon satin (which is really a gloss). With that I have a plant monster for pulp
