I have a number of Churchill Funnies in my FOW collection. I also have a number of British tanks in my 20mm WWII skirmish collection. I have always liked the looks of these strange vehicles and thought they worked well in developing special scenarios that are just more than blow up the enemy. While on the QRF site, I came across facine miniatures and thought they would be perfect for my gaming. So, off to my shopping cart they went!

The models themselves are made out of metal and come in two pieces. The two sections split the model in half along its length. They fit together well and just need to be glued. The flash on the parts is quite nominal.

Being a bundle of sticks, the model is easy to paint! I just sprayed mine Krylon camo tan. Hit the whole thing with a brown wash and a few levels of tan dry brush. A quick spray of Dullcoat and all done. I thought about painting the rope, but figured it would be tan too, so not worth the trouble.

I just set these on my tanks with no problem and have facine tanks. Now, that was the theory… As the models are metal, they are a bit heavy. If your tanks are light plastic, they may tip and not hold the weight. My 15mm tanks are resin and I added weight inside my plastic tanks, so not so much of a problem. However, you have been warned! With that caveat, I am happy I now have something a little different to add to my scenarios!
