I’m getting ready for some limited in home gaming and have started to work on some game aids. Probably the first game I will run is the new version two Muskets and Tomahawks. I had created unit cards for the original rules and decided to update those files for the new game. This helps players run their units, as they have the stats at their fingertips.
The cards are created using Excel spreadsheets. I set up a template for each card and just entered in the required data. I marked the British with red headings and the French with blue. I only did cards for the units that I owned, so they fit on less than two sheets of card stock. Each card is about 4″ x 2″.
Once the cards were printed, I sprayed them with gloss craft paper sealer from Krylon. This took two coats, as the paper absorbs the paint. This gives a semi gloss coating that makes the cards more resilient over time.
Once the sealer had dried, I cut out the cards using a paper cutter. I tried to follow along the outside lines, as best as a I could. I missed the mark on a few and went back with scissors to fix my errors.
Now, the sealer had the effect of causing the sheets to curl a bit. I just stacked them up and put some heavy boads on top for a few days and they flattened out nicely. Now I’m all ready for the next game!

Can we download those cards.
Thanks

Sorry, I missed your comment until today. I think they are probably protected as intellectual property by the company. As such, probably not a good idea to post them. I can probably email them to you if you like.
