I am using my lock down time to get ready for the day that gaming resumes. This has mostly been assembling and painting of armies. Along with that, I have started making game aids for the various games. The easiest ones are for 40k Apocalypse data cards I will be using to play Epic scale 40k.
GW came out with a few card sets in print when Apocalypse was released (they are getting harder to find these days). However, they did release all the cards in digital form on their website. On the site, you can find cards for every faction that is represented in the current 40k game. In addition, they also have the Forgeworld decks that include all models Forgeworld ever released. These cover most of the older unit types that once were in 40k, but have since gone the way of the Dodo bird. This is were you will find a number of older units that had epic miniatures also.

The site has all the decks, you just click and pick the ones you want. I decided to just to print the decks I needed. To do that, I used card stock and just cycled it through my home printer. I used the color print option, but for those of you that want to save on some ink expense, black and white will work also, as they are mostly grey.
Simply print the cards using four pages per sheet option. Once they are printed, cut them to size and you should be set. If you want to make the cards a little more resilient, you can spray them with gloss paper medium.
With that, I can now organize my Epic games on the fly!
