After a long break, I have finally gotten back to working on miniatures for my various ninth age armies. I have been bouncing around, as my interest keeps shifting. However, I have managed to focus enough on the Saurian Ancients army.
In going through my current collection, I found that I needed to make some changes to get my old Warhammer 8th edition army up to snuff. That means rebasing some models (due to changes in base sizes), updating some paint jobs (this was my first painted 28mm fantasy army) and adding some new units that I did not have (as they did not exist when I painted the army twenty plus years ago).
My first new unit was some Saurian Calvary. I have picked up some partially painted figures on Ebay (my least favorite thing is block painting base colors) and painted them up to my tastes and based them. Finally, something done!
Now I just need to move on to finishing the rebasing of my Cuatls and touching up the rest of the army to get all the bases to match! In the meantime, I have something finished to motivate myself….
