I recently placed an order for miniatures with Conquer Models out of the UK. Along with my 28mm Dwarves, I ordered two sets of 10-12mm fountains. At only 2 pounds sterling, it is a minor investment for some extra details in my town set ups in 15mm. All three miniatures come in the same zip lock bag and are single piece with no assembly required. The pieces are molded in grey resin.
The kit is very crisp and well detailed. You can clearly see each detail on all the pieces. While listed as 10-15mm, they work very well for small items in 15mm (which is where I will use them). I photoed them with a 25mm figure to show scale (maybe I should have used a 15mm figure….) They have a little flash on the bottom from casting, with no flash on the upper surfaces.
As with most terrain, painting is easy. I sprayed them tan and hit them with a sepia wash, then drybrushed them with tan again and a light drybrush with bone to give depth. Sprayed with dull coat and later painted gloss coat on the inside of the fountains to represent the water (did not take a picture with the water). Easy peasy lemon squeezey.
What can I say. These minis are cheap, one piece and easy to paint. No complaints on my end. I have to give them 5 out of 5 masonry bricks!
