So, it was time to start on my 1815 British. The plan was to have enough units to field the British army for the Waterloo campaign, with each unit representing a brigade in Bloody Big Battles. This force required a bit of a mix of different figures. The British regulars needed to be ordered from the Gajo 1812 line. The light infantry, highlanders and rifles came from the Gajo Napoleonic line.

I needed to adjust the trousers on the earlier uniformed models and change them from white to gray. I left the officer pans white though. I could not get the mix of facings that I wanted, so I repainted some of these to get all the units I wanted.

All the flags were from GMB and affixed with white glue. Like all my other troops, these were mounted to white metal bases. All flocked with Woodlands Scenics flock attached with Geohex Green. Once that was all dry, I sprayed down the whole lot with Tamiya dull coat. I did see that the red in the flags ran a bit (*&^&). I will have to reorder that step on future models, when I have red in the flags…. Anyway, that gives me all the British brigades for the Waterloo campaign.
