I have started a side project to fill out my Napoleonics to cover the 1815 campaign. So. I have been picking up figures online from different companies. I found a few listings for Brunswick on eBay and purchased them. They are from of the Chinese painting companies.

The units arrived and I unpacked them. The quality was not quite as nice as I thought they would be. I had to add a few details here and there (I just realized I did not do all the cuffs!). The biggest issue, was that two of the units were painted gray and not black…. I considered sending them back, but just decided to live with it.

Then I decided to fix them with some black contrast paint and painted all the coats of the two infantry units. I left the pants gray, to represent overalls. This would allow them to stick out against the light infantry on the tabletop. The light infantry unit was done in black, so no worries there.

I got them all off the bases they came mounted on with an eXacto and glued them to metal bases, added some flags and flocked them up. With that, I have what I need for Brunswick. At least until I fix those cuffs…..
