The final leg of the project! The last vehicles in the box are some old resin Battlefront AA vehicles. I could not find any of these in photos for the French and did not have any decals specifically for them. So, I opted to use the force and just wing it. Since all the other vehicles followed certain patterns, I just followed the same for these. Some tricolors, some names, some license plates and all good.

The T-28s are an earlier vehicle, but only used by the US in Italy. It looks like they deployed to Southern France and then were handed down to the French. So, they would end up in my French. I had the M-16s already also, so I could do the full platoon with the mixed vehicles.

These followed the same steps as the earlier lend lease project vehicles. I sprayed the models with Krylon dark olive camo paint, hit the bottoms with Vallejo mud pumice, black washed the tank, drybrushed up the green, added the decals, drybrushed the brown, dull coated the models and finished with a Iraqi Sand drybrush.

With these, I have finished the last of the project! Now, I will have to do a few Shermans from scratch and replace a number of MGs, before I can say I am really done. However, that is only a snack compared to everything else I have pushed out! With that said, I did include Soviet lend lease, only to abandon that, when the weathering and mud coloring diverged. Maybe I need to get back to those to really say I am finished?
