With the APCs out of the way, the next thing I needed was some artillery support for the French. So, I pulled out the T-30s and a couple of jeeps. I believe these were only used in Italy, but it is possible the 1st FFI took these to France with them until they were replaced by M-8s. They would most likely have been handed down to interior forces and later used in Indo China.
The models are all Battlefront. These were part of the shrinking land lease batch of vehicles I had painted up to the decal stage. I did not have any photos of these, so I winged it. I just grabbed a few requisite tri-colors and a few other markings from the Peddinghaus sheets. I applied them an moved o.
These followed the same steps as the earlier lend lease project vehicles. I sprayed the models with Krylon dark olive camo paint, hit the bottoms with Vallejo mud pumice, black washed the tank, drybrushed up the green, added the decals, drybrushed the brown, dull coated the models and finished with a Iraqi Sand drybrush. The jeeps had some bases, so these were drybrushed up like the mud on the vehicles and I added earth trim.

I love when people finally put on decals at this scale, most people don’t!
