I like to squeeze in terrain and “what-not” items into my painting schedule. These go fast and help me feel like I am accomplishing something, particularly when I am working on a complex or boring large project. Over time, I ended up with some random items that I have let these pile up a bit too much. So, I decided to clear off the backlog!
I started with a bunch of 15mm Peter Pig German rubber assault rafts for FOW river assaults, a 15mm war memorial for scatter terrain, some Etsy 28mm Dwarf wall terrain for unit fillers. I pulled these out, cleaned them up and primed them.
Next I hit all the models with a dark brown or black wash. I then drybrushed up each their chosen color of brown, gray or tan. A hi light here and there and some Krylon flat sealer on each.
Now I can put this stuff in the appropriate storage spot and fill up my table with something else!
