Next on the list was various AA, AT and artillery units in the collection. I had finished up the crew and bases for some 3″ guns, but did not have any guns! I would some from Butlers Printed models and picked those up. While ordering those, I saw M-12s, so added those to the order. I also had some old Battlefront resin Priests M-15s and M-16s.
These followed the same steps as the early lend lease project vehicles. I sprayed the models with Krylon dark olive camo paint, hit the bottoms with Vallejo dark mud pumice, black washed the tank, drybrushed up the green and brown, painted details, added the decals, added and detailed stowage, dull coated the models and finished with a Iraqi Sand drybrush.
Like all the others, these had stalled at the decal step. However, I finally got the decals and got back to work. I placed all the decals and added some storage to some of the vehicles. I then painted up the storage and dull coated the vehicles. I finished up with a tan drybrush to finish up the lot.

It is a pretty quick way to get through armor and gives a very dirty effect.
Next up are the M-3 Halftracks…..
