I picked up a few models from Peter Pig recently. Part of this order was a few sets of Dragons Teeth. Truth be told, I thought the individual sections would be about four inches long. I already had some from battlefront (that need to be pimped up). However, when they arrived, I realized my stake and that the sections were eight inches! Oh well, they would still work out and are lighter than the heavy battlefront ones, so no worries.
I bought four sets, as I thought they would cover two feet. With the correction, I had enough to do four foot. The sections are two by eight inches (perfect for earlier versions of FOW). They are made of a lightweight tan resin. The detail is caste well and paint up quite easily. The edges are a bit high and flat though, so need some covering.
I sprayed the sections with some Krylon tan camo paint and then hit them with a brown wash. I then drybrushed them up with some Iraqi Sand and Dark Sand. Next, I painted the concrete with some GW contrast grey paint. I then wet brushed the concrete with grey then white paint. I would have stopped there, so I could use these in sandy areas, but the high straight sides were bothering me. So, I pulled out the Scenic Express Summer flock and glued it to the sides and random top areas to give a little variance to each piece. The flock did the trick and camouflaged the sides a bit. Some dull coat spray to seal everything in and I have some dragons teeth ready to go.
