I have been running Rebels and Patriots games lately to cover my French and Indian War itch. I really like the rules as a quick after game experience. However, I have been stretching my miniature collection to run the games. To do that, I have been using small six model units to ensure everyone has enough units. truth be told, the game works better when using full sized units of twelve. As such, it was clear I needed a few more dudes!

Well, that was going to take a long time to paint and I am in the middle of another project. So, I needed a solution in the meantime. Naturally, I decided to go to the Gajo website and see what would work for me.

Well, I saw they have highlanders and thought they would be a nice add. I do not have it in me to paint all that tartan, so that was a no brannier at the price listed.

I currently have Pennsylvania provincials painted. I thought I could use a few more units from another colony and saw that Gajo had these, so I picked up a couple of units worth to use and Virginia Provincials.

I received the figures and straightened a few weapons. The models are Wassach miniatures and come painted using the Foundry Method. They are a solid 25mm tabletop paint job.

I mounted these on some round GW 25mm bases I had (already sprayed brown). This is the basing I use for my other figures. I needed to somewhat match my exiting figures, so I went old school. I added some ballast with white glue. I then painted this brown and drybrushed up the bases. I added some green flocking and painted the base edges dark brown. A little dull coat and the figures are ready for the next game!
