I wanted a few bits of scatter terrain for my Pulp factory building set up. I found some items on the Crooked Dice site that were on sale and decided to add them to the pool.
The packs arrived and I opened them up. The models are cast in a hard light grey resin. The detail is crisp and all the smooth areas are actually smooth! There was a little flash on the air vent, but the others had none. Each is a single piece, so no assembly required.
I opted for a metallic look, so I started by priming all the parts black. I then cry brushed up a few shades of silver. I added some bronze details to add some variation. I painted some areas with contrast black and added some red, green and white lights and cables for color. I finished with a semi gloss dealer and that’s it!
The models from Crooked Dice are not cheap, but with the sale price, they were worth the purchase. As such, I am glad I picked them up and have added them to my terrain collection.
