Working my way through finishing up my lend lease armor painting project, the next batch of vehicles was my armor vehicles for Kampfgruppe Skorzeny. Technically, this is not lend lease, but captured and converted tanks. However, as it was the same paint scheme as I have been blitzing through, it was part of the project.
I grabbed a number of jeeps and the ersatz Stugs and Panthers that were available from Battlefront. Since the Germans could not find enough US tanks for the unit (more than likely the owning units just did not admit they had them), they Germans added some steel to make the Panthers look like M-10 and the Stugs like M-7s.
I applied US marking to these, added some tools and did the final drybrush on these to match the other US vehicles (which I will use as necessary to bolster up the units when needed). Some dull coat and another unit is done!
