My FLGS got in a large shipment of terrain from Gale Force Nine the other day. All the items were done in tan and matched their somewhat recent Egyptian terrain. The boxes covered the gambit of roads, buildings and stone. The item that intrigued me was the ruin set. This is the same as the medieval ruins in gray, just done in tan.

Ironically, they also released a whole series of bluffs and rocks in tan. Ironic, as I bought the brown ones last year and painted them all tan! I thought it was funny, after I spent all the time putting my set together.

Anyway, back to the ruins. I thought these would look good with my Egyptian runes for Pulp, so I picked up the set. The set is multi piece, so you can set it up as you want as its own feature or scatter terrain. Like all their stuff, the pieces are moulded in hard resin with a base black finish and worked up with paint.

The set is table ready like most GF9 terrain. I have to say, maybe more so. I felt the tan paint work was done well and had sufficient gradation. As such, I decided it did not need any pimping like many of my earlier purchases. It is all nicely done. A nice add for anyone looking for some tan ruins!
