A buddy of mine runs the T9A Mountain Mayhem tourney every fall, and this year was no exception. I am not really a tourney player (I prefer group games), but I attended just to check it out and help out with Army Painting judging.
The event was five games over two days. A number of guys showed up on Friday night and started their gaming fun early. I myself was there all day Saturday to fulfill my obligation, check out the games and say hi to a number of the gamers that I know.
I believe there were thirty gamers in total. The scenarios were set and the armies had 4,500 int totals. I have not had a chance to get back together with my buddy and find out who the winners were, but that does not stop me from showing a few photos!
The armies were well represented, but I did not see any Dwarves, beast herds for Highborn Elves. Other than that, everything else was represented (even if in a couple of cases with interesting figure choices).
With my day done, I headed out at the end of the first day. Looking at all the armies defiantly got me thinking of painting a few fantasy figures again!
